Data Fiduciary (Controller): Tagsag Retail (“Tagsag”, “we”, “us”, “our”)

We respect your privacy. This Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to our Site, apps (if any), customer support and marketing activities.

Children & families: We sell family products but our Site is intended for use by adults. If you’re under 18, please use the Site only with a parent/guardian and do not submit personal data without their consent.

1) Data We Collect

  • Account & Contact: name, email, mobile, shipping/billing address, password (hashed), preferences.
  • Order & Payment: items purchased, order value, payment status, transaction IDs, limited payment instrument details (last 4 digits, issuer)—complete credentials are handled by our payment partners.
  • Support & Reviews: messages, attachments, ratings, Q&A, complaints.
  • Device & Usage: IP address, device/browser type, identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, general location (city/region), cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing Preferences: newsletter opt-ins, campaign interactions (opens/clicks).
  • Social/Third-Party Sign-in (if enabled): profile basics and identifier as permitted by the provider and your settings.

2) How We Use Your Data

  • Provide services: register your account, process orders, payments, returns, replacements, refunds, and deliver products.
  • Customer support: respond to queries, verify identity, resolve complaints.
  • Improve & secure: analytics, debugging, fraud prevention, service quality, load balancing and security monitoring.
  • Marketing (with consent/where permitted): newsletters, offers, remarketing, surveys. You can opt out anytime.
  • Legal compliance: tax/GST records, lawful requests, enforcement of Terms.
  • Personalisation: remember preferences, recommend relevant products and content.

We process data based on one or more of: your consent, performance of a contract (orders), compliance with law, and legitimate uses like fraud prevention, service improvement and analytics, consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and applicable rules.

  • Logistics partners (couriers for shipping and returns).

  • Professional advisers (auditors, legal, compliance) when necessary.
  • Law enforcement/regulators where legally required.
  • Business transfers (e.g., merger or acquisition) subject to confidentiality and this Policy.

We do not sell your personal data.

6) International Transfers

Our vendors or servers may be located outside India. When data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable measures to ensure comparable protection, including through contractual safeguards, consistent with applicable law.

7) Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed for the purposes above, including:

  • Orders & tax records: as required by law;
  • Account data: while your account is active;
  • Support/complaints: until resolved and for audit needs;
  • Marketing data: until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe.

We then delete or anonymize data.

8) Your Rights (India)

Subject to law, you may request:

  • Access to your personal data;
  • Correction of inaccurate/incomplete data;
  • Erasure when data is no longer necessary or consent is withdrawn;
  • Grievance redressal via our Grievance Officer;
  • Consent withdrawal for marketing at any time (this does not affect processing already done).

9) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures: HTTPS/TLS, encryption in transit, restricted access, password hashing, periodic reviews, and staff confidentiality obligations. No system is 100% secure; please keep your credentials safe and notify us of any suspected breach.

10) Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child provided data without consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete or secure it.

11) Third-Party Sites & Integrations

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or plug-ins (payment gateways, courier tracking, social sign-in). Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies before using those services.

12) Complaints & Grievance Redressal

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, contact our Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 30 days.
